Remove all contents from the shelves.  Don't try to ship your CD's, TV, cards and games or any other loose items inside the armoire - they'll shift during the move and possible become damaged.  If you have drawers, you can keep some items inside if they are not too heavy.  Wad up a blank newsprint in the empty space and tape the drawer shut (using masking tape)  You may fill empty spaces with lightweight items, like pillows and Lampshades.  Several lampshades can be stacked together with blank newsprint in between.   Close and lock the doors and tie handles together.  Tie large padding or blankets around the outside to protect from scratches.
