Paper
should never be allowed to touch the surface of an oil painting. Oils, watercolors
or paintings that are not protected by glass, should be handled and crated
by an Allstate mover. There are custom made cartons and boxes for
pictures that you may ask your Allstate Representative about.
You may take your less expensive pictures and take two flat pieces of cardboard and place your pictures in between binding with tape or heavy cord securing tightly. Corners should be protected by folding newsprint and taping down by attaching tape to the cardboard and not the picture. Mark the "glass" side of the piece. |
